FAQ
Can beginners play airsoft without their own equipment?
Yes — rental packages include airsoft guns, protective gear, and BBs for first-time players. At Action Airsoft, we provide full equipment rentals and safety briefings, making it easy for new players to try the sport without upfront investment.
How does airsoft gun repair and tuning work?
Airsoft repair involves diagnostics to identify issues, followed by part replacements, cleaning, or performance adjustments. Our Tech Department handles everything from basic maintenance to advanced upgrades, helping extend your gun's lifespan and reliability with fast local turnaround.
What should I expect during an airsoft safety briefing?
Safety briefings cover eye protection requirements, shooting rules, boundary limits, and how to signal hits during gameplay. Staff-managed sessions at Action Airsoft emphasize clear instructions and rule enforcement to ensure fair play and injury prevention for all experience levels.
What are the benefits of indoor airsoft arenas?
Indoor arenas provide consistent play conditions, varied tactical layouts, and protection from weather year-round. They're ideal for players who want reliable recreation without cancellations due to rain or winter conditions, while enjoying the game in a climate-controlled environment.
How do airsoft parties work for groups?
Private airsoft parties include reserved arena time, equipment rentals, game setup, and staff supervision tailored to your group. At Action Airsoft, we handle scheduling and structure games to keep teens, adults, and mixed-skill groups engaged and safe throughout the event.
What's the biggest mistake people make with airsoft equipment?
Skipping regular cleaning and maintenance leads to premature wear, jams, and performance issues. Proper servicing through experienced technicians helps avoid costly repairs and keeps your airsoft gun reliable for both casual play and competitive use.
Can airsoft guns be upgraded for better performance?
Yes — upgrades can improve accuracy, range, rate of fire, and durability through quality internal parts and tuning. Our Tech Department performs custom upgrades for competitive players looking to gain an edge while maintaining gear reliability and safety compliance.
Why choose a local airsoft repair shop?
Local repair offers faster turnaround, no shipping costs, and direct communication with technicians who understand your gear. At Action Airsoft, players avoid downtime and get convenient diagnostics and parts support without waiting weeks or even months for returns.
How old do I need to be to play?
For individuals under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must provide a signature for all rules and waivers. Our minimum age to play at Action Airsoft is 10 years old, due to insurance regulations and to keep everyone safe.
How many people are allowed on the field?
Currently, we allow 80 players at any one time. We are licensed for 120 players, but we have kept this number lower for more enhanced gameplay. This number may be subject to change based on the observation of gameplay flow, and we reserve the right to limit the numbers lower than 80 during certain events.
Do you have HPA fill stations?
We have two HPA fill stations offering 3,000 psi and 4,500 psi, and allow unlimited free tank refills while playing at Action Airsoft. Refill fees apply for those not playing at Action Airsoft.
Is there parking available?
Parking is available on premises with over 200 spots available. Our parking lot is monitored 24/7 with over 8 cameras, ensuring your vehicle is safe while you play at Action Airsoft.
Does it hurt, and what should I expect?
Airsoft uses 6mm plastic BBs that are much lighter and gentler than paintballs. You'll feel a light snap, similar to a rubber band, when hit during gameplay. All players are required to wear approved eye protection, and we also suggest mouth and hand protection. If you don't have these, we've got you covered — we offer full-face mask rentals. This is not like paintball: long gone are the days of welts, ruined clothing, or the cost of constantly buying expensive paint. We do suggest you come in comfortable loose clothing (a hoodie or long-sleeve top and long pants) along with running shoes. No open-toe, sandal, or Croc-style footwear is allowed on our field.
Is airsoft safe to play?
1000% it is. Safety has always been our top priority at Action Airsoft, which is why we've become one of the most popular indoor facilities not only in Toronto, but in Canada. Our staff's emphasis on safety is paramount from the moment you walk in the door until you complete your last game session. We've hosted thousands of group events and over 70,000 public game players in the past 5 years with no safety incidents. Every player completes a safety waiver and briefing before entering the field.
